Fountains Abbey to Markenfield Hall

Discover the countryside between two of the most important medieval buildings in the area.  Once, their lands adjoined, but in the disruption after the dissolution of the monasteries both estates saw then end of their heyday and much of their land. Six Dales Trail

Scar House Walking & Cycling Routes

Scar House Walking & Cycle Routes are a permissive bridleway loop around Yorkshire Water’s Scar House Reservoir which comes to 4 miles and crosses both dams at the top of the valley.
